About RustPulse
The Rust ecosystem in one clean dashboard.
RustPulse tracks public signals from the Rust ecosystem. It does not claim to measure exact global Rust usage — that is not something anyone can measure precisely. Instead, it collects public data and presents it clearly.
The signals come from:
- crates.ioCrate metadata, versions, and download counts.
- GitHubStars, forks, issues, and activity for Rust repositories.
- RustSecSecurity advisories for Rust crates.
- Stack Overflow / Stack ExchangeDeveloper survey and tag-activity signals.
- Public surveys & rankingsTIOBE, RedMonk, the State of Rust survey, and similar.
- AI Rust benchmarksA future benchmark of AI code generation for Rust (mocked today).
The goal is to make the Rust ecosystem easier to understand at a glance — credible, grounded, and honest about what the numbers do and do not mean.
Every metric shows its source and, where relevant, when it was last updated. Numbers labelled as samples or placeholders are exactly that.
RustPulse is open source. Contributions — especially live data providers — are welcome on GitHub.
